Have you known you can save yourself work every month with reporting your PV plant production data into OTE (The Electricity Market Operator)? We are bringing you solution from a traditional Czech producer of a system for PV plant monitoring, company Solar Monitor Ltd.
How does it work?
You choose Solar Monitor as an agent in the CS-OTE system. You grant it necessary rights and you can start reporting.
Solar Monitor provides you with an access into its Internet Portal (hereinafter referred to as Portal) where you log in without a certificate – therefore without limitations and anywhere from the Internet. You can see a history of your reports for OTE and ERU, together with a graphic representation of four-quadrant electricity meter values at the Portal.
You show or edit all the reports linked with your plant operation just at one place. You do not have to watch deadlines. The report is always ready in time even if CEZ, Eon or PRE provides data late. As soon as a new report is ready you get an email with a click into the Portal to its display. You fill in the only number – the value of terminal energy which you simply copy from the electricity meter. The remaining values are calculated automatically.
The whole process is automated into such an extent as every PV plant operator wishes:
Manual input – you fill in the terminal energy into the report manually and send the report just by one click.
Semi-automated – terminal energy is filled into the report by a Solar Monitor device and you just send the report by one click.
Fully automated – the Solar Monitor device fills the terminal energy into the report and sends the report automatically instead of you.

Nested plants
It is suitable even for plant operators who have more power plants at one place. The main plant is connected to a four-quadrant electricity meter and one or more so called nested plants (sources) as well. Every source can have a different green bonus tariff and therefore its own electricity meter.
When reporting, the reports from nested sources are sent first and then the report for the main (directly connected) source.
Automatic reporting
You can put a Solar Monitor device for simple PV plant monitoring at your power plant for the price of 3,618.- Kč VAT excluded. The device reads production data from the electricity meter and sends it to the Portal every hour. In case there is a problem with the power plant it sends you a warning.
Over the Internet or via a mobile operator. You do not put any data when the report is being made, you only confirm its validity by pressing the Send button.
The device has another two inputs to connect another electricity, gas or water meters. You can have not only your PV plant data at the Portal, but an overview of your household electricity, gas or water consumption as well.
Or you can purchase a Solar Monitor device which can not only read an electricity meter, but it can also monitor inverters and load switching (appliances) according to its actual output. You can always see if the power plant is working correctly and even if you are consuming the produced electricity effectively. Besides you have an immediate overview of emerged mistakes and you can deal with it before it can malfunction or even destroy an expensive device. This monitoring device you can purchase from 6,718.- Kč VAT excluded.
It is possible even at a mobile phone
The most comfortable way is to use all the system in a mobile phone or in a tablet. You have your power plant under control even when you travel and you can send a report without any problem, e.g. from your holiday at the beach. ;-)
The mobile app is a full tool not only for sending reports, but for a complete monitoring of your power plant as well. It allows:
